Who therapy is for?
Therapy is for really for anyone. You do not have to have a major life event happening, a traumatic experience that you can't shake, or complete instability in your life to seek therapy. All of us have points in our life that feel okay, neutral, or perhaps even joyful. We also have points in which we feel pain, suffering, and left wondering why suffering is part of the human experience. It's when we are no longer able to shift out of our highs and lows so easily, that there may be something deeper going on.
If you resonate with any of the following symptoms, please reach out to explore more with me:
Individuals who notice and feel stuck in unhealthy patterns, whether in relationship dynamics, health and wellness routines, work-life balance
Individuals finding it challenging to be in the present moment- either ruminating on the past or feeling fearful about the future
Individuals feeling as though life is happening to them rather than being an active participant and creator of their life purpose
Individuals feeling stagnant, low energy, on edge, or burned out- perhaps being stuck in hyperactive mode and grasping for control, unable to shift out of high and low states and access relaxation and calm in the face of stress
Primarily serving adult women seeking support with relationship dynamics, major life transitions, and difficulty with anxiety related symptoms.
How can therapy help?
Through understanding how the body and mind are connected, how our genetics, our environment, and our social conditioning impact the way we respond to the waves in life, we may find new, adaptive, and flexible ways to live in a more balance, embodied, and resilient way.
